No. Photograph an invoice or forward it by email. BOB reads the amount, vendor, date and line items, suggests where it belongs in your cost plan, and you confirm with one tap. Every document is kept as the original.
BOB checks every progress invoice against your contract, the build progress and the legal limits under German construction law — for example the 5% security under § 650m BGB, or the MaBV instalment plan when buying off-plan. You get a clear, sourced hint before you pay. BOB gives sourced hints, not legal advice. Applies to projects in Germany.
Yes. For developer purchases BOB checks the payment schedule against the German MaBV: at most 13 instalments from the permitted percentages, no payment before it is due. Change orders and upgrades keep their own place in the cost plan.
Yes. BOB reads XLSX and CSV files, auto-detects columns like trade, amount and vendor, and builds your cost plan from them. Anything BOB cannot match confidently, you assign by hand — nothing is lost.
Yes. BOB starts from a new-build, renovation or conversion template, including a reserve recommendation (new build 10–15%, renovation 15–20% of the planned total). DIY work is planned as its own items with material and time shares.
In the EU: BOB stores your projects with Supabase in Frankfurt (AWS eu-central-1), encrypted in transit and at rest. Your documents are yours — export everything as CSV, XLSX or PDF at any time, and delete your account whenever you want.
The BOB web app runs in any browser on any device, including on site. The iOS and Android app with camera scan and share-to-BOB is in the works and coming next.
